As Trackmania's overview page explains, the biggest problem with Trackmania is that players can't actually see other players while racing, but other than that TrackMania does have some great features. The game has great graphics and simple controls. You control your car with the arrow keys: there's no shift button, no boost button, no item launchers or any of that nonsense. The racing is VERY fast paced and youâll spend the first few races crashing into the walls on every turn. The default tracks are very well done and exciting: sometimes you'll be driving sideways or even upside down!

Another huge positive aspect of TrackMania is that The choice of playable tracks is nearly limitless since players can create their own. The default car design is based on the country you picked when you created your account but can be changed or customized any time. TrackMania offers a Global ranking system which compares your records to players across the globe, to players across your country, and even to players in the same state as you. This will give you some motivation to improve your lap times and win races. TrackMania offers everything a devoted racing fan would want: lots of opponents and a way to compare skill with a global audience. If you're at all interested in racing games, TrackMania is a must-play.
