Lost Ark's latest update brings two new raids, a new dungeon, and a new leisurely event island.
Killin' & Chillin' in Lost Ark's Latest Update "Wrath of the Covetous Legion"
Lost Ark's latest update, Wrath of the Covetous Legion, released today. With it comes two new raids, a dungeon, an event island, cosmetics and, of course, some customary bug fixes. Plenty to tide us over until we finally hear more about that Witcher 3 collaboration we've been waiting for.
The first of the two new raids is the Vykas Legion Raid, the second Legion Raid to arrive in the West following Valtan. Within it, players must face the titular Covetous Legion before going toe-to-toe with Legion Commander Vykas. This eight-player Legion raid includes three gates and a host of unfamiliar characteristics, abilities and mechanics. Oh, and there are no revives available mid-battle. So, good luck!
The Kungelanium Guardian Raid, meanwhile, sees players face off either alone or with a team of up to three others against Kungelanium, a fearsome frost predator that has been awakened from its glacial slumber by the Demon Legions and Chaos spreading throughout Arkesia.
As for the latest Lost Ark dungeon, Thronespire is a single-player venture set in a twisted dimension with 50 levels. It will see players fight to survive against waves of Demon Legions until time runs out on each floor. The first 25 floors will bestow first-time clear rewards, whilst the remaining 25 focus on prestige and completion times.
Upon tackling the two new raids and Demon Legions, Lost Ark's latest update affords players a little R&R in the newest event island: Heartbeat Island. In this idyllic summer getaway, players can collect Festival Coins through various activities or partake in daily "quests" that entail relaxing in a designated area or participating in a dance-off with Rakiel, the Dancing Queen. To reach it, speak to Jollous, the festival expert located in major cities or sailing directly to it.
Wrath of the Covetous Legion is available now. For the full details, including the various general updates and quality of life updates, be sure to swing by the official Wrath of the Covetous Legion patch notes.
