The Best Photography Locations in Black Desert Online
Love in-game photography? Check out BDO's most iconic photoshoot destinations. Following our Black Desert Online Eternal Winter review, we interviewed the MMORPG's Head of Game Design Division, Joo Jesse. In that interview, we discussed the many incoming updates to the Black Desert photography system, including the ability to add filters and change weather types to capture that perfect shot.
If you're a lover of in-game photography, like us, then we've got a treat for you. If anyone is likely to know the best photography locations in Black Desert Online, it's Joo Jesse. So we couldn't help asking a bonus question about the most beautiful spots to take a sneaky screenshot snap.
Last year, MMOGames.com ranked Black Desert as the most beautiful MMORPG on the market. Where would you visit in the expansion for the best photoshoot?
"Thank you so much for ranking us in your article. This means a lot to us and we'll make sure to continue to improve the aesthetics of Black Desert.
The world of Black Desert is full of stunning scenery. For instance, there is the Balenos and Serendia city where you can capture the traditional European atmosphere during the medieval age. For players who seek the solemnness and grandeur of the desert, the Valencia region can be an ideal destination. Furthermore, the Kamasylvia area unveils the beauty behind the land of mystical fairies to players and the Drieghan region flaunts the rugged mountainous area that has the secret of dragons. These are all great places to take screenshots."
"If I have to pick only one. I'd like to recommend the Mountain of Eternal Winter. Have a look at the majestic view over the valley from the Camp Balacs. Inspired by the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland, the sheer cliffs covered in permanent snow really give you the atmosphere of healing."
"In addition, there are a lot more to list, but I highly recommend Navarn Steppe in the Kamasylvia region, Holy College in the Calpheon city, Sherekhan Necropolis in the Drieghan region, and last but not least, O'draxxia - the capital city of O'dyllita."
So there you have it folks, the most beautiful photography locations in Black Desert Online from the very person who designed the game. What do you think of his choices? Is there anywhere Joo Jesse missed out? Let us know in our social channels.
