The Broken Ranks roadmap teases new bosses, systems, fixes, and chapters before the year is through.
Check-out the F2P Isometric MMORPG Broken Ranks Roadmap
Back in May of 2021, an isometric MMORPG by the name of Broken Ranks caught our eye, and the illuminating beam of our Indie Spotlight. Back then the "gloomy" MMO from Whitemoon Games was in the early stages of Beta testing. But since its release in January, a Broken Ranks roadmap has seen it go from strength to strength. And it looks like there's plenty more where that came from.
Broken Ranks is a fantasy MMORPG that provides a particularly lore-rich RPG experience with turn-based combat and a hand-drawn art style. Players can choose between one of seven classes that include the familiar Knight, Barbarian, and Archer as well as the less typical Voodoo and Sheed. Best of all, it's free to play on PC.
As for the Broken Ranks roadmap, this month alone will see an update that will include PvE rebalances to the Knight and Barbarian, a new level 70 boss instance, brand new PvP Arena and Tournament systems, League and Tournament achievements, and the customary smattering of bug fixes.
Then, to see the year out, Q4 will bring Pet Skins, Gear Reform, PvP reforms, and a brand new chapter to the main storyline before we even hit 2023. And you can bet your bottom dollar that Whitemoon intends to hit the ground running in the new year, with a full Broken Ranks roadmap until Q2 (June 30) of 2023. Needless to say, it looks like there's plenty to look forward to.
"We are glad that up to this point we've managed to implement everything that we have detailed in our roadmap. In addition, we've also introduced some extra functionalities that the community has asked for and we are grateful to them for their suggestions. When it comes to updating this year's plans, we've analyzed the most pressing topics, taken into account the voices of players, and prioritized anew.
"We decided to put emphasis on all the balance issues that are so important in MMORPG titles. One of the most important changes is postponing the guild update. Before the guild reform, we want to start working on the PvP system to make it more interesting for both new players and veterans." Said Whitemoon Studio founder Krzysztof Danilewicz
Broken Ranks is available to play for free on PC, with mobile and macOS ports already in the pipeline.
