The annual ghost festival in Drakensang Online begins today. Just in time for Halloween, a great threat is once again imminent. Once there was a queen who was as beautiful as she was evil. When she died, the inhabitants of the fantasy world fled. But everyone is afraid of her return, and now it's time once again. Actually, at the moment the harvest should take place in the pumpkin fields of Oldfield, followed by the Ghost Festival. But mysterious events are happening all over the village. Sophia, one of the village elders, seems to know something about it and she asks you for help. This is how your first task in the event starts.
The main goal of the current event in Drakensang Online is to collect Saved Souls and Light Essences. The former is needed to make progress in the event and thus earn rewards. Light Essences, on the other hand, are needed to inflict powerful damage on enemies in the Scary Castle. Scary Castle? That's right, after you defeat all the enemies in the village (the first event map), the area guard Morven will appear, from whom you will receive Sophia's antidote, Saved Souls and other rewards. With the antidote, you will be able to enter the said creepy castle. There, not only more of the Witch Queen's henchmen are waiting, but also Gwenfara herself. But it's a long way until then, on which the challenge "Return of the Dead" including the boss Wendigo awaits you.
You will be rewarded handsomely for your deeds at the event in the action role-playing game. You'll get jewels, a special companion and other equipment. You'll also have plenty of time, because the Ghost Festival will be active until November 23, 2023.
