The Lost Ark May update introduces a new warrior advance class and a brand new type of raid.
It’s "Chicking" Hammer Time in the Lost Ark May Update
The Lost Ark May update launches today, bringing with it new quests, raids, quality of life updates and an answer to the question 'what's the best tool to use to make sure that spider is really, really dead?'
A new quest that tasks players with transforming into a chicken or beer to defeat a giant Crispy Golden Chicking boss as he and his ilk seek revenge for their eaten friends and family
Destined For Destruction is the name of the Lost Ark May update and is in no doubt inspired by the hammer-wielding Destroyer Advanced Class it comes with. If the supremely OTT hammer didn't give it away, this latest Warrior Advanced Class was born to bludgeon, with the power to control gravity to boot. Which, to be fair, helps explain how he can carry that thing.
Lost Ark's continued love affair with oversized weapons doesn't stop there however. Valtan introduces the title's first Legion Raid, a new type of raid that tasks players to carry out team-based activities in order to calculate the weaknesses of the Legion Commander. They are not for the faint of heart, and require an item level of 1415 to play on normal difficulty, or 1445 on hard. And to the victors, the spoils, as Legion Raids will bestow a new rarity for gear called Relic.
A new Guardian has also swooped in looking for an a**-whooping in the latest Guardian Raid. The green fire-spewing Deskaluda requires an item level of 1415 to take on and will also provide Relic quality accessories for your troubles.
Additional Lost Ark content includes Challenge Guardian raids, guild activities, outfits that looks like they've been bought from the nearest department store, quality of life changes and a new quest that tasks players with transforming into a chicken or beer to defeat a giant Crispy Golden Chicking boss as he and his ilk seek revenge for their eaten friends and family. You know, standard Lost Ark stuff.
