The triumphal march of Street Fighter 6 continues. Capcom has now published new figures.
Street Fighter 6: Over 3 million games sold
The fighting game Street Fighter 6 continues to sell brilliantly. Over three million copies of the game have been sold since its release at the beginning of June 2023 (as of January 3, 2024). This was announced today by Japanese manufacturer Capcom. This brings the total sales figures for the Street Fighter series to 52 million games. It all started very modestly back in 1987 when Street Fighter was released for arcade machines. However, the big breakthrough came with the second part, which became a worldwide hit in 1991.
To ensure that the game continues to sell, Capcom regularly adds new content. For example, Outfit 3 was recently released for various fighters. Also launched just a few days ago is a new collaboration with the popular anime series SPYxFAMILY to celebrate the upcoming release of the film SPYxFAMILY CODE: White. You can also currently earn new content with the Capcom Cup X Supporter Fighting Pass.
In case you've forgotten, Ed, another warrior who wants to show what he can do in battle, will be released this winter.
