The Confounding Labyrinth is a mysterious new Tower of Fantasy area begging to be explored.
A “Confounding” Tower of Fantasy Area Arrives on November 22nd
The latest Tower of Fantasy update is set to arrive in just over a week, and introduces a brand new area for players to feast their eyes on. The Confounding Labyrinth is a particularly mystifying maze as it takes liberties with the laws of physics and nature. And it sounds like a riot to explore.
The Confounding Labyrinth, AKA Tower of Fantasy Version 2.1, doubles down on the sci-fi aesthetic with imagery depicting some kind of techno-Sauron at the core of this new Tower of Fantasy area.
The labyrinth can be found beneath the Cyberpunk-esque city of Mirroria which was a new Tower of Fantasy area first introduced in Version 2.0. It also came with a warning tag, which we expected to be in reference to inner-city perils rather than a treacherous underground maze filled with horrifying beasties, but here we are.
When the update lands, it looks like players will be in for a spooky time, with some multi-legged horror being teased at the end of the reveal trailer. But it seems as though players will first have to navigate a confusing series of terrains before facing off against this new big-bad.
As we await its release, there are a few ongoing events for players to take advantage of as of right now. This includes the Dynamic Mindfulness Special Order event that greatly increases the probability of obtaining the limited SSR Weapon, Heartstream, from now until December 2nd.
The event coincides with the introduction of Saki Fuwa, the newest simulacrum and captain of the Mirroria Security Special Forces who wields Heartstream. Saki Fuwa can significantly boost attacks and combat prowess through her Super Flow ability.
Tower of Fantasy is a Genshin-like gacha game that - despite the name - leans into the sci-fi genre. It is also cross-platform, and can be downloaded for free on iOS, Android or PC.
