A Valheim concept of cosmic proportions
Crafty Creations: The Valheim Mandalorian Crossover We Always Wanted
We may have focussed on some other games and even real-life works in our recent Crafty Creations. But we could only stay away from Valheim for so long. When it comes to creative freedom, Valheim offers ground so fertile it would make Freyr blush. And even though we've already seen Franken-trolls and viking race cars from its ingenious community, we may have found the most out-of-this-world Valheim concept yet.
Vikings are still sailing upon a wave of popularity in recent years, winning the hearts and minds of people in nearly every facet of media with their rugged good looks and grim mythos. But the last fandom you'd expect these warriors of yore to crossover with is that of Star Wars. Even if they did both take place 'a long time ago.'
But leave it to a Valheim player to bridge the gap between these two universes, as Reddit user OhhhBoyyyyy decided to celebrate Star Wars Day (May 4th be with you) by unveiling a Valheim -ified Razor Crest.
For any non-superfans, Razor Crest is the ship of The Mandalorian, the eponymous star of the Disney Plus show. And whilst we're pretty certain it doesn't function in quite the same way as Mando's trusty starship, OhhhBoyyyyy has certainly done a stellar job of replicating the look out of wooden planks and glass. Even the engines are smoldering away as if ready to take off.
The Valheim Razor Crest's innards are also practically indistinguishable from the 'real' thing. With a wardrobe, arsenal and pantry all in the same places from the show - only filled with robes and bows instead of beskar armor and laser cannons.
The true pièce de résistance of the video tour, however, comes in the form of a decidedly less cute Grogu (A.K.A. Baby Yoda) being played by a Fuling, sat in his usual seat behind the ship's captain.
We would say that we don't know how Valheim players are going to top this one. But experience tells us that we'll be back with another crafty Valheim concept before you know it.
