Eleven is an unusual fantasy worldbuilding MMO which takes place inside the minds of eleven peculiarly imaginative Giants. You choose how to grow and shape the world: building and developing, learning new skills, collaborating or competing with everyone else in one enormous, ever-changing, persistent world. It's a peaceful, cooperative, massively multiplayer game in which you pet trees, milk butterflies, gasmogrify vapour, build furniture, brew hooch, grow herbs, tune bubbles, and make salt in a spice mill...with friends!
Eleven is based on Glitch, a game that was shut-down in 2012. The entire library of art assets from Glitch has been made freely available, along with much of the code from the game client. The developers of Eleven decided to continue the Glitch project and started on the Eleven Game. "We are eager to bring the game back to the fans as well as introduce it to those that never had the privilege to experience it."
Eleven Key Features
No Violence - Eleven deliberately steers away from combat mechanics, instead focusing on collaborative crafting and gathering activities. Instead of competing with others, you cooperate; what can you build, if you work together at it?
Change The World Together - Players are prompted to complete quests and perform various activities that will change the persistent world. Players are invited to expand upon the world, shaping its growth through various activities such as growing plants and trees and cooking food items.
Time-Out - If a player is being, disrespectful, rude, or cursing constantly, the player character can be taken to a black room with a single, low light lamp. The user will be accompanied by one or many staff members trying to calm them down and if that doesn't work, the avatar can be locked down to a chair and the player booted off for an amount of time, called a Time-Out.
